I Bought My Son a Racing Bike This Christmas

I'm so glad my son has made new friends since we moved house. They're a lot better influence as they love to play sports like football and tennis. He's also joined a cycling club recently and I bought him a racing bike for Christmas as well as some sprintdesign jackets.
Where we used to live, there was too much traffic and kids didn't play out on the streets - they were all indoors because parents just didn't feel the streets were safe enough. There was a feeling of fear in the neighbourhood, which is a shame as kids should be able to run around and get fit naturally by playing.
Since the move, my son's hardly home anymore - which is a good thing - he comes home with a smile on his face and he's a lot happier. I only hope our new neighbourhood stays this way as it's good for my son.
