When you buy a car, you should be aware of the documents which should accompany it, otherwise you will not be able to know what to do whenever there is an issue involving your car. They could be showing that your tyres are valid for free check up until your mot expires, but since you are not aware you will miss out on such offers. Payment of tax in this country is a requirement by the government in order for us to enjoy better social services from the government. Everyone who is of a legal age and has a source of income is supposed to pay tax to the government without failing, otherwise they will be on the wrong side of the law, which is dangerous for them. Vehicle users also who use our public roads are supposed to pay motoring tax to the motoring authority. This money is used to improve the state of our roads and to put enough measures to protect public road users against accidents and other dangers they may encounter as they use the roads. We have managed so far to have quality services in this country because all the citizens have been paying their taxes without failing. Since the payment modes have been made more flexible to the advantage of payers, we expect that all citizens will be paying their tax on time in order to ensure that we have better services in our country all the time. |

Litter refers to a small crisp packet, sweet wrapper, cigarette butts or large bags of rubbish. It makes the areas untidy and also the food litter attracts rats and flies which spread diseases. Throwing rubbish into our surroundings has a negative impact on our planet earth, and working with a self drive road sweeper, I know I'll never be out of a job. Litter will cause damage to the areas where we live, work, and play. There are many causes which results in littering. The pedestrians and motorists may drop garbage in the streets. In the houses the trashcans may be invaded by scavengers or wind if it is left unsecured. In the slum areas the people make the environment untidy even by urinating. The rubbish on the street also includes banana skin, even dead animals or animal scrap also. It has become a very bad practice that people tend to keep clean their houses and throw off the wastes and even useless household things in the street. In certain places we can see that it becomes impossible for the pedestrians to pass by the streets. People do not hesitate to put the waste of chewing gums which will stick on to the footwear of the passers by. The effects of littering include harm to our water storage systems and other water bodies. There are instances of animals eating plastic grocery bags left by the people in the open places. It is high time for fighting litter and you have to be aware that it is a threat to public health. |
